Charging is an important step in the use of rechargeable batteries. Proper charging is good for prolonging battery life, and improper charging will have a great effect on battery life. Lithium batteries are based on individual products are packaged separately, not common, so each product also provides their own charging equipment, not common, in use as long as they follow their own instructions to use.

Fast charging and slow charging

For example, a 5th Ni-MH Battery has a capacitance of 1200mAH, while the other section is 1600mAH. The capacitance of a battery is called 1C. When charging, the charging current is less than 0.1C, called trickle charging. Trickle charging allows the battery to be fully charged without damaging the battery life, but the trickle charge takes too long to be used alone, and is used in combination with other charging methods.

Charging current between 0.1c-0.2c is called a slow charge. Charging current is more than 0.2C, less than 0.8C is fast charging. When the charging current is greater than 0.8C, it is called super high speed charge.

However, 1 C is a logical concept rather than an absolute value, so fast charging based on 1C is also a relative, as the 200mAH charge current is a slow charge for 1200mAH batteries, and for 700mAH batteries.
